Free Skype PC To Phone VoIP Calls
Skype has now begun ranning promotion offering free PC-to-phone internet phone calls anywhere in the United States and Canada.
Skype has currently about 100 million registered internet phone users. The biggest concentration of them is in Europe so the move is designed to widen the North American user base. It might also relate to some recent internet phone entries from the likes Yahoo and VoIP Stunt that come competing directly with Skype.
The new promo calls are being accessed from Skype's own Skype Mate software just as usual by dialing +1 area code and then the local phone number.
