AOL Opens Its Own VoIP Internet Phone Service

The new AOL internet phone service is going to be called AOL Phoneline and its area is to be first released in 50 US metropolitan areas.

The monthly charge for unlimited outgoing VoIP calls is set to $14.99 a month and iclueds incoming phone number. The unlimited calls will apply to US, Canada and 30 other countries.
Other features will include caller ID, call blocking, click to call and 911 calls support.

AOL is also counting with this new internet telephony develpment here on the support of the 80 million registered users of its AIM accounting for around 38 percent of the Instant Messenger market.
