China to become biggest broadband market in 2007

According to the Ovum analytics company China is poised to have the largest number of broadband subscribers by some time in 2007. That is despite of the currently still very low broadband market penetration there amounting to some 3.4% Naturally that is because of the large population of China and the booming economy.

According to the same forecast the number of Chinese broadband users is to reach 139 million by the year 2010. That will surely increase the penetration of broadband based internet telephony as well as of all manner of WiFi VoIP applications.
